COVID Kindness

The community cupboard (food bank) of our college was immediately hit hard when COVID restrictions can into place. The amount of food that we normally would give out in a month was flying out every day! The suppliers were overwhelmed too and were unable to deliver an adequate supply for the new needs of our food bank. We called around everywhere that we could think of. We reached many dead ends. Just before our food supply ran out, I called up my neighbourhood small green grocer and explained the situation. In no time, they had a palette of food ready for pick up. No bureaucracy, waiting on hold, or hesitation. Just pure neighborly kindness – COVID Kindness. Thank you Top Ten!
