Membership in the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research BC (SIETAR BC) is open to all individuals and institutions that support the organization’s mission and objectives. We offer several membership categories to suit your needs.
As an inclusive organization, SIETAR BC wishes to remove all barriers to membership.
Open to anyone whose interests are consistent with those of SIETAR BC; provides access to all SIETAR benefits, including workshops, webinars, newsletters, and networking events.​

INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP $350 CA
For educational institutions or organizations which share common goals with SIETAR. Institutions may list up to 6 individuals in their membership.

For seniors (65+), and to those who are unwaged or who may have difficulty paying the regular membership fee
For full-time students (a copy of student card to be submitted with application)
Members have access to the full range of resources on the SIETAR BC website and can attend all organized events at no cost.

SIETAR BC members share a commitment to intercultural understanding and awareness. Our members include educators, trainers, researchers, consultants, and others involved in internationally-related activities, as well as those who are working towards building cross-cultural awareness and understanding throughout their own communities.
We call on our membership for programming ideas, feedback, and discussion about what is important in this region and to how our organization can help our communities grow interculturally. As a regional affiliate of SIETAR International, SIETAR BC benefits from worldwide networks of other SIETAR members.
Membership Benefits are numerous and include opportunity to be part of an interculturalist community, to share and learn from our colleagues, as well as connect with SIETARs globally.
SIETAR BC offers 4 -5 opportunities annually to add knowledge and skills to your intercultural repertoire, to make connections, and to enjoy time with others who are learning and sharing across and among cultures.

Pay your fees by cheque or credit card at any face to face SIETAR BC event.
If you are renewing your membership, please pay your membership fee for the current year.
No need to complete a new application. Note that memberships are valid for the calendar year, January 1 to December 31.
