About the Event

Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, is a sacred time for our Muslim counterparts. It is a month of introspection, fasting, and prayer, and the end of this period is commemorated by Eid al-Fitr. As we continue to observe Ramadan, we aim to find and create opportunities to learn how to understand our Muslim counterparts during this time. Join SIETAR BC and special guest, Soumaya Khalifa, an Interculturalist and Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Expert specializing in the Arab World and Islam in the workplace, to learn more about the holy month of Ramadan on Wednesday, April 19, from 12-1 p.m. PT. We look forward to unlearning and learning with you as we strive for greater understanding and more inclusive communities and workplaces.
