About the Event

Alysha is the Impact Producer for Options Community Services in Surrey. She has worked with immigrants and refugees in various capacities for the past 10 years, earning a Master’s degree in Geography. She's run community-engaged research with newcomers to the U.S. and Canada and has designed and coordinated programs to showcase the talents and knowledge that newcomers bring. Alysha is certified in TESOL and has taught English in Chile, Brazil, the Czech Republic, and France – and picked up on new languages and perspectives along the way.

Join her on June 17 to hear about the community-engaged research and co-design project she's led at Options. In this Sietar webinar, we'll discuss using design prompts in ethnographic community research Co-designing reciprocal intercultural exchanges through https://wearehuh.com/ehuh and ways we've adapted both of those during a pandemic.
